On Saturday May 12, 11am – 12 midday, as part of Flourish!, FOLIO Sutton Coldfield will be hosting a family illustration and collage workshop by Kate Greenaway medal winner, Mini Grey based on her latest book The Last Wolf, a re-imagining of the classic tale of Little Red Riding Hood but with an added environmental twist.
This will be a great way to get young families thinking about the natural environment around them and what we can all do to protect the open spaces we love. This event also ties in with The Tree Council’s Walk in the Woods festival.
The event is free and ideal for primary school aged children and their families. No booking required but due to space requirements, we will limit the workshop to 30 children and their accompanying adults. Books will be on sale after the event (cash only), and Mini will be happy to sign them for you.
