A FREE workshop for 6-12 year olds combining arts, drama, dance, games and the world of Roald Dahl! This workshop is being run by Birmingham Centre for Arts Therapies, funded by a Big Lottery Grant BCAT STARZ is part of BCAT’s community work with young people. BCAT run several free clubs that use art, dance, drama and music to assist your child in improving their interest in books and reading. Projects are designed, not only to improve literacy development, but also self-esteem and communication. Participants will gain practical experience in a variety of arts forms and games that will encourage the development of social skills and interaction with their peers.

A local history talk about a piece of Sutton Coldfield's history which changed English law for ever. This talk will be given by author and historian Naomi Clifford. The event starts (with refreshments) at Holy Trinity Church, which has important links to the historical events under discussion, and then moves to Sutton Coldfield Library. The event is designed as a single programme, but if you can only attend one part that's also possible.
FREE but donations welcome to cover the cost of providing refreshments.

A fun class for Babies and Adults
Every Thursday for 5 weeks from 10 January 2019
10-10.30am Story massage involves the use of simple movement (through clothes) associated with words to build up a story or rhyme /song.
Story massage can be shared as a child to child or parent to child activity.
Benefits of story massage:
- Opportunities for children / babies to access calming time
- Fun and interactive way of story telling
- Increases social skills, imagination and creativity
- Relaxation of mind and body
